  "2023" - 21 years of excellence in Teaching Ballet in India!  

NBATI is the first ballet school to introduce International Ballet certification in India.

The examinations are held every November and are offered to children who have completed three or more semesters with us. This international certifications is in collaboration with “The Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing” (CSTD), Australia (established 1933)

Next examination: Temporarily suspended until further notice.

Details:

• - These are practical examinations (not written).

• - Taking part in the examinations is optional and not mandatory.

• -To be eligible for the exams, a student must have attended three consecutive semesters.

• - Examinations will be held once in two years. 

• - Exams are held in November. 

• - There is a fee to register for the exams.

• - Our faculty will prepare the children for the exams during the regular ballet classes and no extra classes/training is required.

• - Certified Invigilators will be invited from Australia/Singapore to conduct these exams. 

• - Upon successfully completing the examination students will be provided with a certificate by CSTD, which is internationally recognized. 

About CSTD:

The Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing is one of the world’s great international dance societies proudly serving dance for over 80 years. 2013 marked the 80th Anniversary of the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD).

CSTD had its beginnings in 1933 with the formation of the National Examination System and the Victorian Society of Dancing. Established in 1931 and 1933 respectively, the two organizations were founded to establish Examination Standards and to raise the standard of dance in Australia.

The later amalgamation of the two societies into the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing consolidated the work of the two organizations into one democratic society which today occupies a unique position amongst the dance societies of the world, catering for all major forms of dance.

Examinations are held throughout Australia and the Asian Pacific Region in the various syllabi.
